Work Environment

This position is based entirely onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. The environment is designed to foster innovation and effective teamwork among our healthcare professionals, including two fellow physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to effectively identify and address each patient's unique goals and requirements.
• Manage a patient caseload averaging one individual per hour, ensuring focused and personalized therapy sessions.
• Utilize your experience in orthopedic outpatient settings to implement cost-effective treatment plans that enhance patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Reduce patients' dependence on medications by exploring holistic alternatives to surgical procedures.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize a variety of treatment techniques tailored to individual needs.
• Design and oversee tailored fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's objectives.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of patient care services and progress, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Foster patient motivation throughout their treatment journey to maximize functional outcomes.
• Encourage healthy lifestyle choices by focusing on improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and continuous care for patients.
• Regularly evaluate treatment outcomes and progress, adjusting interventions as needed for optimum results.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adults and elderly patients who are undergoing rehabilitation following orthopedic surgery or injury. Your role is critical in providing not only physical rehabilitation but also emotional support, ensuring that patients feel empowered and engaged in their recovery process.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Nevada.
• An impeccable professional history with no record of board or disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the ability to utilize evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional skills in developing and implementing personalized exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) software, especially WebPT, is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient therapy setting is highly preferred, providing an understanding of common conditions treated in this environment.
• Familiarity with a diverse array of treatment modalities and philosophies in physical therapy.
• A proven background in patient education and motivational techniques that enhance patient adherence to their treatment plan.

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
