Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients to determine their physical therapy needs, creating individualized treatment plans that consider their specific diagnoses and rehabilitation goals.

• Administer physical therapy techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities while maintaining a high standard of quality in patient interactions.

• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians, ensuring that all therapy activities align with patient-centered care guidelines.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on comprehensive assessments and interdisciplinary team feedback.

• Engage in case management duties that involve collaborating with other healthcare professionals, providing insights into patient condition changes, and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Educate patients and their families about recovery timelines, rehabilitation techniques, and home exercise programs to foster a collaborative approach to recovery.

• Adhere strictly to state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practices, ensuring compliance and the highest ethical standards in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgery, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neuromuscular disorders. Understanding the unique challenges faced by each patient is crucial, as you will leverage evidence-based practice to drive successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.

• A current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.

• Valid certification in CPR from the American Heart Association (AHA) or equivalent.

• Proficient in using physical therapy equipment and technology, with the ability to perform functional evaluations and tailored therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related orthopedic rehabilitation setting is required, candidates with higher levels of expertise or specialized certifications in orthopedic therapy may be preferred. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes an annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000 based on experience and qualifications.
