Work Environment

As a Mobile Physical Therapist, you will work onsite at various rehabilitation facilities across Las Vegas. Your day will typically involve traveling between clinics, providing direct therapy to a diverse patient population. Each facility has a supportive atmosphere where team collaboration is emphasized. You will have access to the latest therapy tools and methodologies, ensuring you are equipped to deliver the highest standard of care. Expect to work a consistent schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy to patients, tailoring treatments to individual needs to ensure effective rehabilitation.
• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to develop customized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines and patient goals.
• Collaborate tightly with healthcare teams to deliver seamless care, particularly during staff shortages, ensuring uninterrupted patient services.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, managing pain, and strategies for injury prevention.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Assist in training and mentoring new staff members, sharing your clinical knowledge and expertise.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and patient care to foster an environment of excellence across all locations.
• Be prepared to travel to different clinic sites as needed, with travel expenses reimbursed according to company policy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will involve working with a broad spectrum of patients, from those recovering from surgery to rehabilitation after sports injuries or chronic pain conditions. You will encounter individuals of all ages, each presenting unique challenges that will require you to apply your clinical skills in various contexts.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A valid physical therapy license or eligibility for licensure in the state of Nevada.
• Designed flexibility to travel between different clinic locations and to adapt to varying clinical environments.
• Strong foundational clinical skills, alongside the capability to assess, diagnose, and implement treatment for an array of physical conditions.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for building rapport with patients and working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Proactive in working independently yet comfortable collaborating within a team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or sports therapy settings is advantageous but not a requirement.
