As a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.37 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue03:00 PM - 12:00 AMSun04:00 PM - 12:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized personnel and guests in accordance with site procedures. Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. A guard card/license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
