Graphic Designer

Location: Carlisle Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Job Type: Full Time Contract Type: Permanent Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Overview NXT Recruitment is delighted to be recruiting for a talented Graphic Designer on behalf of a well-established and growing business. This is an exciting opportunity to join an in-house marketing team where you’ll play a key role in shaping the visual identity of multiple brands across both digital and traditional marketing channels. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll create engaging, high-quality creative assets that support marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand development. The successful candidate will enjoy taking projects from concept through to completion while working across a variety of platforms, ensuring all creative output is visually engaging, commercially effective, and aligned with brand guidelines. Key Responsibilities Develop creative concepts for seasonal, promotional, and marketing campaigns Design digital assets for websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, and paid advertising Produce artwork for print materials including brochures, flyers, posters, point-of-sale displays, window graphics, and in-store signage Create campaign assets that can be adapted across multiple marketing channels Work closely with the marketing team to produce creative solutions that support commercial objectives Ensure all creative output is consistent with brand guidelines and maintains a high standard of quality Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines Prepare artwork accurately for both digital publishing and professional print production Contribute creative ideas during campaign planning and content development Maintain and organise design assets, templates, and brand resources Proof and review artwork to ensure accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail Requirements Previous experience within a Graphic Design or Creative Marketing role A strong portfolio demonstrating both digital and print design work Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Excellent understanding of typography, layout, composition, and visual hierarchy Experience creating artwork for websites, email marketing, social media, and digital advertising Knowledge of print production processes and artwork preparationAbility to interpret creative briefs and develop original design concepts Excellent attention to detail with strong proofreading skills Strong organisational and time management skills Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment Confident working collaboratively and responding positively to feedback Experience with motion graphics or video editing Photography experience Knowledge of web design principles Interest in consumer products, or lifestyle brands #J-18808-Ljbffr NXT Recruitment LTD
