General Production Worker

We are seeking dedicated Machine Operators to learn and operate flexographic print press machines. This role involves mastering the setup, operation, and monitoring of our flexographic printing presses to ensure high-quality production.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a flexographic printing press.
• Review production orders, job jackets, and customer specifications.
• Set up machinery with inks, plates, dies, cylinders, and production materials.
• Verify print quality, color registration, and customer requirements before and during production runs.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
• Perform machine setup and changeovers.
• Clean printing plates, cylinders, and machine components.
• Lubricate equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and escalate larger concerns when necessary.

Essential Skills

• Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Experience in performing machine setups, adjustments, or changeovers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in machine operation and troubleshooting.
• Strong production and machine setup skills.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate-controlled environment with varying temperatures. Training is on the 1st shift, transitioning to the 2nd shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. The schedule follows a 3-2-2 rotation, offering every other weekend off.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
