Retail Staff Pharmacist - Adams, MA

Job Description

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a licensed pharmacist with retail experience to serve as the primary pharmacist and Pharmacy Manager in an independent retail setting. This role offers a chance to manage pharmacy operations, lead a supportive team of three technicians, and provide quality care to a daily patient volume of approximately 100 prescriptions.

Responsibilities include overseeing order entry using a computerized RX system, ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations, managing daily workflow efficiently, and maintaining excellent patient and customer service standards. You will be the sole pharmacist on-site, making leadership and organizational skills essential.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Active Massachusetts pharmacy license required
Prior retail pharmacy experience, with a strong preference for those who have served as PIC or Pharmacy Manager
Staff pharmacists interested in advancing to a Pharmacy Manager role are encouraged to apply
Comfortable managing a moderate prescription volume and supervising pharmacy technicians

Work Details:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Position type: Contract to hire, approximately 13 weeks
Work environment: Independent retail pharmacy setting
