A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available for a pharmacist seeking a role that combines clinical expertise with management potential in an independent retail setting. Location:

• North Adams, MA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract with potential for direct hire

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily pharmacy operations in a retail environment
• Provide prescription verification and dispense medications accurately
• Lead and mentor a support team of three pharmacy technicians
• Handle computer-based order entry systems efficiently
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC)
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication therapy

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacist license
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Experience as a Pharmacist in Charge is highly desirable; however, motivated staff pharmacists interested in advancing to pharmacy manager roles will also be considered
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage workflow and staff
