Project Manager

Basic Daily Responsibilities for this Position Include: Interpret and manage contract documents – Review and understand construction contracts, project plans, and specifications to ensure compliance and accuracy. Plan and schedule work – Develop, read, and maintain project schedules to effectively plan production, delivery, and installation activities, ensuring deadlines are met. Coordinate with engineering – Communicate clearly with CMI engineers to prepare project submittals and submit them for review and approval. Estimate and track changes – Accurately estimate project ASIs, RFPs, and other scope changes; submit for approval as required. Manage pricing updates – Relay installer and vendor pricing changes to the preconstruction and estimating teams in a timely and accurate manner. Oversee multiple projects – Administer and coordinate several projects simultaneously, ensuring all stay on schedule and within scope. Manage installation crews – Schedule and coordinate installers as needed to meet project milestones. Maintain jobsite presence – Attend deliveries if needed, meetings, and site visits to document progress and ensure project success. Handle project documentation – Create and maintain submittal logs, material orders, job reports, installation reports, punch lists, change orders/requests, schedules of values, pay applications, warranties, closeout documents, and other necessary records in line with company procedures. Lead communication efforts – Organize and participate in phone calls, conferences, Zoom meetings, and other communications to address challenges and advance project timelines.
