Sr. Safety Professional- Phoenix

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Professional for an exciting opportunity in Phoenix, Arizona. This role is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of employees, clients, and stakeholders by developing and implementing comprehensive safety programs and protocols. This position requires travel within Arizona, approximately 75% of the time, providing a dynamic and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities

• 
  Facilitate training in-person, virtually, or as an e-learning in collaboration with the Training Department.
  
  



• 
  Train field leaders on safety protocols, programs, and hazard identification.
  
  



• 
  Build and maintain strong relationships with field leadership and team members to foster a safety culture.
  
  



• 
  Prepare for and respond to natural disasters by conducting building evacuation drills.
  
  



• 
  Develop and communicate site-specific safety plans and ensure compliance.
  
  



• 
  Conduct incident investigations and ensure proper documentation and corrective actions.
  
  



• 
  Provide technical expertise and advice on safety, management, and compliance.
  
  



• 
  Conduct research and develop statistical analyses to support management decision-making.
  
  



• 
  Create and maintain evacuation plans and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  
  



• 
  Assist with injury management, including tracking follow-ups and coordinating care for injured employees.
  
  



• 
  Support and assist with safety meetings and discussions to address issues and mitigations.
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  Basic knowledge of safety/environmental principles and techniques.
  
  



• 
  Familiarity with Federal, State, and local Environmental Health & Safety regulations.
  
  



• 
  Ability to voice professional opinions and concerns tactfully and authentically.
  
  



• 
  Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  
  



• 
  Exceptional organizational skills with close attention to detail.
  
  



• 
  Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google, and Apple applications.
  
  



• 
  A minimum of seven years of experience in construction, maintenance, safety, or operations.
  
  



• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  
  



• 
  Valid driver's license and CHST or CSP Certification required.
  
  

Required Work Hours

Monday through Friday, typically between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Occasional work outside regular hours may be necessary to meet business needs.

Benefits

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $44 to $55, with travel opportunities and the chance to work within a leading organization committed to safety and excellence.

Additional Details

Max Pay: $55.00 per hour.

Min Pay: $44.00 per hour.

Approximately 75% travel time required within Arizona.
