Yearly Opportunity: Up to $61,360+ / year based on hourly wages.

Position Overview:

As a Class A Driver, you will operate COMMERCIAL CLASS A TRUCK. You will pick up & deliver materials from the Materials Recovery Facility to the landfill and PORTS TERMINAL EXPERIENCE SUCH AS LONG BEACH, LOS ANGELES ETC..

Position Responsibilities:

• This position involves operating heavy-load vehicles to two or more locations
• EXPERIENCE NAVIGATING BUSY PORT TERMINAL SYSTEM SUCH AS LONG BEACH, LOS ANGELES, ELIZABETH ETC.
• Load and unload freight as required. Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch on delays, arrivals, equipment problems, etc., as required.
• Maintain accurate daily logs, verify and complete required documentation and reports.
• Meet all Safety, Service & Efficiency standards for the position.

Qualifications

Candidate Qualifications:

• Current 10 years driving experience with a Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Current TWIC Card
• EXPERIENCE NAVIGATING BUSY PORT TERMINAL SYSTEM SUCH AS LONG BEACH, LOS ANGELES, ELIZABETH ETC.
• Safely and efficiently transporting cargo containers between seaports areas and distribution centers.
• Experience with port pick up and drop offs.
• High School diploma or GED
• Must have acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) based on hiring standards and company mental and physical requirements
