Senior Specialist, Clinical Education Imaging, Clinical Development

Edwards Lifesciences seeks a Senior Specialist in Clinical Education Imaging to support transcatheter mitral and tricuspid valve therapies. The role involves providing on-site clinical guidance during procedures, developing training materials, documenting case observations, and collaborating across R&D and commercial teams. Requires a bachelor's degree in life sciences and RDCS certification with 5+ years of clinical echosonography experience; up to 50% travel required.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site imaging guidance and clinical expertise during complex transcatheter device implants and research cases
- Develop educational materials on device handling, implantation techniques, and troubleshooting for cross-functional teams
- Document procedural observations and support clinical trial enrollment and investigator communications
- Coordinate clinical imaging training as products progress from early studies through commercialization
- Analyze and optimize procedural design, testing protocols, and create regulatory documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological sciences, life sciences, animal science, or related technical field
- 5+ years independent echosonography scanning in clinical setting
- RDCS certification from ARDMS or equivalent credential
- Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally
- On-site full-time position in Irvine, California
Compensation: $134,000 - $190,000 base (California)
