If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.## Job Summary:The Biorepository Associate supports routine laboratory operations related to the receipt, quality control, and storage of clinical specimens. This role ensures accurate handling, documentation, and storage in compliance with regulatory and company standards while working a Tuesday–Saturday, 3:30 PM – midnight shift.## What You'll Be Doing:* Assist with receiving consignments and shipments of clinical specimens* Open shipments and perform quality checks on patient information forms, escalating discrepancies or damage* Prepare and coordinate shipments for long-term storage, client needs, or specimen disposition* Support after-hours alarms and other critical operational functions* Assist with equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of laboratory tools* Support inventory management and maintain cleanliness of workstations* Perform administrative tasks and organize work areas as directed## What We Are Looking For:* High School Diploma or equivalent* Basic computer skills with the ability to manage workflow and reporting processes* Experience with specimen handling, shipment processing, or laboratory documentation practices* Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted instead of a degree## The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Needed for This Role:* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills in a regulated environment* Ability to follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines consistentlyAbility to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
