Job Description
The Pool Technician is responsible for maintaining and servicing residential and commercial swimming pools. This role involves cleaning pools, testing and balancing water chemistry, inspecting and repairing equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through professional service. The technician works independently and regularly travels between client sites during standard business hours, with opportunities available for certification and training.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular pool cleaning and debris removal
- Maintain and service pool equipment including filters and pumps
- Test and balance water chemistry to ensure safety and compliance
- Conduct filter servicing and pump repairs as needed
- Interact professionally with customers and respond to their inquiries
- Keep accurate records of maintenance and services performed
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in pool maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification preferred
- Knowledge of pool equipment repair, water chemistry, and filter maintenance
- Familiarity with pump operation and chemical handling
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to safety compliance standards
