Summary As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will function as an essential member of the team in the practice setting or on units as indicated by physician needs. Qualifications People applying must meet one of the following sets of qualifications: Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program required. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Physician Assistant preferred. Maintain a Physician Assistant license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, both Medical and Osteopathic preferred. Collaborative agreement approved through the state within 3 months of start date required. National certification required. DEA mandatory within 6 months of start date. Current Healthcare provider CPR through the American Heart Association required at time of hire. Maintains ACLS and PALS certification preferred. OR Master’s Degree in Nursing required. Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse licensure required. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner from a board-recognized national certification organization (as per the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing) which requires the passing of a national certifying examination in the particular clinic specialty area in which the applicant is seeking certification by the board. Healthcare Provider CPR certification from American Heart Association required. Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nurse Practitioner preferred. Maintain current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS certifications.
