Sr. Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join a pharmaceutical organization in Dallas, Texas. This position focuses on cash and treasury accounting activities, supporting accurate financial reporting and dependable daily cash operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong month-end close expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage reconciliations, journal activity, and payment-related processes in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:• Oversee treasury and cash accounting functions to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and on time.• Prepare and post journal entries related to cash activity, payments, and other assigned general ledger accounts.• Support month-end close by reviewing balances, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate financial records.• Perform cash account and bank reconciliations, investigating variances and completing corrections as needed.• Manage wire transfer activity and help ensure payments are processed securely and in accordance with company procedures.• Develop and maintain cash forecasts to support short-term liquidity planning and operational decision-making.• Partner with accounts payable and internal finance teams to monitor outgoing payments and improve cash visibility.• Assist with process updates related to payment workflows or accounting operations when required.
