Job Summary:

As a member of the interdisciplinary team, the RN contributes professional nursing knowledge and skills in the provision and management of care to patients through the application of the nursing process. Responsibilities include promoting evidence-based practice, assessing patient status, developing individualized care plans, implementing appropriate interventions, evaluating patient progress, and modifying care plans as needed. The RN ensures proper documentation, demonstrates professional accountability, and promotes patient and staff safety. Collaboration with the healthcare team and effective communication are essential to achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum three (3) years of applicable experience
• Fluent in reading, writing, comprehending, and speaking English
• Basic computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheet, email, web browser)
• Multicultural sensitivity
• Critical thinking skills with independent judgment in decision-making
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Illinois state RN license in good standing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
