Location: Phoenix, AZ
Pay Rate: $19.57 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Receivable Representative to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering a hybrid work schedule after training. During the first 1-2 weeks, candidates will work fully onsite for training. After training, employees will work 3 days onsite and 2 days remotely, with flexibility regarding in-office days. Upon conversion to a full-time employee, there may be an opportunity for an additional remote workday.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong investigative and problem-solving skills who enjoys working collaboratively while managing responsibilities independently. Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and maintain customer invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Record customer payments, checks, and account transactions.
• Monitor accounts receivable balances and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding account status and payment inquiries.
• Answer incoming calls and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to accounts receivable activities.
• Assist with administrative and accounting-related tasks as needed.
• Support the accounting team with project-based assignments and backup duties.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and other accounting software to manage accounts and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous accounts receivable, accounting, billing, or related experience preferred.
• Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) experience is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to investigate and resolve account discrepancies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated, inquisitive, dependable, and results-oriented.
