Job Description \nJOB OVERVIEW\n \n \n Profession: Physician \n Specialty: Family Medicine \n Job Type: Locum Tenens \n Location: Manasquan, New Jersey \n Service Setting: Outpatient \n Coverage Type: Clinical Only \n Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing \n Shift Schedule: Mon - Fri, 8a - 5p (Tuesdays until 7p) \n Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Malpractice Insurance Covered; Travel/Lodging Not Covered \n\nPATIENT INFORMATION\n \n \n Patient Demographics: Adult, Geriatric \n Average Daily Volume: 3 patients per hour \n Case Mix: Adult outpatient, Geriatrics, Occupational Medicine \n\nFACILITY INFORMATION\n \n \n EMR System: Athena \n Office Equipment Available: 13 Exam Rooms, On-site Laboratory, Defibrillator \n Specialty Backup Available: Internal Medicine Physicians, Mid-Levels \n\nPRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE\n \n \n Hospital Privileges Required: No \n Credentialing Timeline: Can approve quickly \n\nREQUIRED PROCEDURES\n \n \n EKG interpretation \n Evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues \n Adult outpatient care \n Employment physicals \n Disability exams \n\n \nJOB REQUIREMENTS\n \n \n Board: Board Certified preferred, will accept Board Eligible \n Licenses: Active NJ License \n Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred \n Other Qualifications: Local provider required; must provide self-query NPDB within 30 days \n\nDuties & Responsibilities\n \n \n Provide primary care to adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting. \n Perform EKG interpretations and manage acute volume/blood pressure issues. \n Conduct employment physicals and disability exams. \n Collaborate with other physicians and mid-level providers. \n Document patient encounters in Athena EMR. \n\n
