Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.What You Will Do:Support requirements capture and FPGA digital architecture.Implement FPGA digital design using RTL.Support verification and system integration of FPGA implementations.What You Will Learn:Work with an experienced team to learn best practices and Collins' engineering processes for implementing world class FPGA solutions.Work with cutting edge technologies developed both in house and by external vendors.Learn how ASICs and FPGAs are used to implement solutions utilized in communications, security, and space-based products.Qualifications You Must Have:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) major obtained by start date.Experience or familiarity with RTL coding and simulation in VHDL, Verilog, or SystemVerilog.Ability to work with minimal supervision, team with engineers of a variety of skills and backgrounds, and matrix into projects with aggressive schedules and frequent milestones.Qualifications We Prefer:Experience using FPGA design tools (e.g. Modelsim, Quartus, Vivado).Programming experience with C, MATLAB, and scripting languages.Familiarity with revision control concepts and tools (e.g. Git, Subversion).Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.Technical experience through prior internships.Prior leadership experience.Strong interest in the firmware design process.What We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world.
