Quantum Lift Full-Time Door & Dock Field Mechanics

Quantum Lift is seeking Full-Time Door & Dock Field Mechanics for our Warren, MI location. This role offers Monday-Friday, first-shift hours, averaging 40 45 hours per week with opportunities for overtime. Overtime and weekends availability required. Our Dock and Door Mechanics are responsible for on-site client installations, repairs, and maintenance of all brands of sectional doors, rolling doors, entry doors, and dock equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, air-powered, and edge-of-dock plates. Overtime and weekends availability required.

Starting compensation ranges from $20-45/hour, depending on experience.

Requirements:

• Possess a strong mechanical background and basic electrical and hydraulics understanding
• Minimum of 2 years of welding experience
• Can provide basic tools
• Can pass a drug screening
• Have good customer relations skills with clear and concise language skills
• Enjoy being part of a team, but can work independently
• Utilize technology such as a laptop or tablet
• Have a valid driver's license in good standing
• Have a strong mechanical aptitude and abilities
• Ability to lift 50 pounds due to lift and move functions

Typical Responsibilities of Our Dock and Door Mechanics:

• Diagnose and repair industrial overhead doors, dock levelers, dock locks, and other dock related equipment
• Communicate effectively any needed repairs with customers
• Complete work orders in a timely manner
• Coordinate with parts and service department daily
• Keep work van clean and stocked with necessary supplies
• Comply with all safety procedures within Quantum Lift's guidelines
• Consistently and reliably attend shift ready to work when scheduled
• Perform any other duties as assigned
