Title
ICU Nurse - Float Pool

Schedule
Shift: Nights 19:00-07:30
Weekend requirement: Yes - at least 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period

Assignment Details
Contract Length: Not specified
Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours available

Requirements
- Active California RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience
- Pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) line experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- EMR: Epic experience required
- References: 2 supervisor references from past 12 months required at time of submittal

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and high-quality nursing care to patients in critical condition across various units.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including interpreting EKGs and ABGs.
- Administer medications and manage intravenous (IV) therapy including vasoactive drips.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Monitor equipment such as ventilators and continuously assess vital signs.

Compliance / Notes
- Flu vaccine required - no exemptions
- Orientation includes onsite testing and EKG exam that must be passed to continue in assignment
