About the Role:

As a Finance Intern within Turnberry, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations and analysis that drive strategic decision-making. This position offers a comprehensive learning experience where you will assist in preparing financial reports, analyzing market trends, and evaluating investment opportunities. You will collaborate closely with finance professionals to understand budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling specific to real estate assets and leasing portfolios. The internship aims to develop your practical skills in financial data management and enhance your understanding of the economic factors influencing the real estate market. Ultimately, your contributions will help optimize financial performance and support sustainable growth within the organization.

Minimum Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field.
Strong foundational knowledge of financial principles and accounting practices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial modeling techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous internship or coursework related to real estate finance or investment analysis.
Experience with financial software such as QuickBooks, Yardi, or ARGUS.
Understanding of real estate market dynamics and leasing processes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to real estate assets and leasing activities.
Support the finance team in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure accurate financial planning.
Conduct market research and analyze real estate trends to provide insights that inform investment and leasing decisions.
Help maintain and update financial databases and models to track property performance and cash flow.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including accounting, leasing, and asset management to gather and verify financial data.
