Bilingual Support Specialist

Providing trauma-informed support, the part-time Bilingual Support Specialist will assist users of the National Sexual Assault Hotline during overnight shifts, focusing on crisis intervention and resource connection in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Answer inbound crisis-intervention calls and online chats, delivering compassionate support to hotline users Maintain knowledge of specific client needs and provide timely referrals and resources to users Collaborate with hotline staff to ensure high-quality service delivery and assist with quality assurance efforts Required qualifications Fluency in English and proficiency in Spanish, with a requirement to pass a proficiency test Minimum of one year of experience in social services, customer service, or crisis intervention Ability to type at least 35 words per minute Proficiency in Google Workspace applications for communication and data management Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule, including evenings and holidays
