Customer Service / Order Entry Representative

Job description

The Customer Service/Order Entry Rep is responsible for entering orders, managing customer orders, and resolving issues professionally and efficiently.


Essential Functions

• Process and manage customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
• Enter order details into Epicor.
• Retrieve and file order documents for record keeping.
• Assist in data collection and analysis for order tracking and reporting purposes.
• Performs general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning and faxing.
• Maintain organized filing system for easy retrieval of order information.
• Ensure all orders are processed according to company policies and procedures.
• Generates reports as requested.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Competencies
• Basic math skills.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience with data entry.
• Ability to read & write in English.
• Comprehension of written instructions.
• Highly detailed with excellent organizational skills.

Supervisory Responsibility
• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk; sit. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, eight hours per day as agreed to by Manager.
(Subject to change based on business demands)

Travel
No travel is expected for this position.

Required Education and Experience
• High School diploma or GED.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
