Professional Stormwater Engineer

Compensation: $120,000 - $130,000 / year Department: Civil/Municipal Location: East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ Job Overview Artheon is seeking a skilled and motivated Professional Stormwater Engineer to join our team in East Brunswick or Neptune, NJ. Responsibilities Develop civil engineering designs, including site layouts, grading, drainage, and utilities using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D). Prepare and submit permit applications to local, state, and federal agencies, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Work closely with project managers, surveyors, and other engineering disciplines to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored to client needs. Create engineering reports, feasibility studies, and calculations to support project design and decision-making. Qualifications 3–5 years of experience in civil engineering design, preferably in land development or municipal projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, HyrdoCAD, HEC-RAS and other relevant engineering software; knowledge of stormwater management software is a plus. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus or willingness to obtain it. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
