Position Summary

We are looking for someone with a friendly face and excellent work ethic to be the next bartender at Woods Fort! The bartender works closely with the Clubhouse Manager and / or Floor Manager on duty to assure an excellent guest experience.

The Bartender must have excellent listening skills and an eagerness to provide excellent service. Must be flexible in meeting the varying scheduling needs of the Club and may be required to work additional hours than scheduled, if necessary. Bartenders must be neat and well-groomed in accordance to Club’s Team Member standards.

This position requires a highly self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision and interact with guests at a high-level.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

It must be recognized that all specific duties cannot be listed and that responsibilities will change accordingly as the need arises.

- This position will meet and greet all members and their guests in a warm, friendly and professional manner in accordance with all facility policies and procedures.

- Responsible for reviewing customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age in accordance with state and federal laws.

- Responsible for preparing alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons

- Responsible for interacting with customers, taking orders and serving menu food and drinks.

- Responsible for mixing ingredients to prepare cocktails.

- Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the bartending station.

- Obtain knowledge of the menu to make recommendations to guests.

- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

- Help keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean and free of trash and waste.

- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

- Comply with all state and local food and beverage regulations

- Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager and/or assistant manager.

- Perform other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

- Preferred weekend and daytime availability

- Must be able to clearly communicate Member needs to other Team Members.

- Ability to keep the bar area organized, stocked and clean

- Ability to Stand 6-8 Hours

- A positive attitude while on the job is also essential.

- Computer literacy in order to use POS system effectively

- Ability to do basic math

- Minimum Age 21

LANGUAGE SKILLS

The ability to speak English is necessary to converse with our members and guests. Proper diction is valued to maintain the ambiance of high level service to our members. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, members and the general public is important.

REASONING ABILITY

It is necessary to have the ability to solve practical problems that may arise. Our team members must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
