Cardiology - Echo and Outpatient Cardiology Faculty Position

Echo and Outpatient Cardiology Faculty Position Institution: The Heart Institute (HI) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) Position: BE/BC Pediatric Cardiologist at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level Focus: Clinical responsibilities primarily in echocardiography and outpatient general cardiology. Key Responsibilities Perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiograms Conduct 1–2 general cardiology clinics weekly Participate in inpatient consult service coverage Engage in all HI clinical and management conferences Provide teaching and instruction aligned with the training mission of HI/CCHMC Provide disease‑specific expert consultation within the area of specialty Develop a broad regional, national, or international subspecialist referral base Support clinical services and maintain high standards of patient care Key Qualifications BE/BC Pediatric Cardiologist Assistant, Associate, or Professor level faculty appointment Experience in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography Experience in outpatient general cardiology clinics Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and clinical research Equal Employment Opportunity Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to creating an environment of dignity and respect for all employees, patients, and families.
