As a result, you’ll benefit from being part of the Croud Group, office, and team. We’re looking for our first Strategy Director on the ground in the US to play a key role in our agency’s growth. Both leading and delivering pitch work in partnership with our VP of New Business and our Chief Creative Officer. As well as leading highly recognized and award-winning work for our clients. You’ll benefit from the support and leadership of our established UK Strategy department, under the wing of our Chief Strategy Officer. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING Set the standard for innovative research and effective strategies aligned to our client's business goals. Driving measurable effectiveness of all work. Writing and delivering strong creative briefs that push the standard of our work. Partnering with our creative leaders to bring ideas to life. Building stories that persuade and manage client rooms as a senior voice Establishing strategic long-term client relationships Leading in new business pitches, thought leadership, and external marketing initiatives As we grow, you’ll build and nurture a team to create a high-performance culture that reflects our values, supports development, and enables talent to thrive. WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR You’ve got expertise in defining and implementing social-first strategies, leveraging tools and technologies to enhance strategic output, efficiency, and measurable results You’re a seasoned storyteller, who can build influence and authority swiftly You have strong relationship‑building skills, particularly with senior clients (e.g., CMOs, Marketing Directors) and cross‑agency partners, with the ability to position the agency as a strategic leader You’re skilled in driving revenue growth and collaborating with client services to expand opportunities, while ensuring accurate resource scoping and commercial success You’ve got leadership experience with a track record of building high‑performing, engaged teams by implementing growth plans and ensuring effective resource allocation You have strong planning, organizational, and collaborative abilities to support department vision, uphold agency standards, and deliver goals NO GRIT NO PEARL No Grit No Pearl is our creative mantra – a single‑minded statement of intent that defines how we get to great work and the standard we hold ourselves to. Standard working hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, there’s flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it will also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
