Details Work in an outpatient oncology infusion clinic setting Care for adult patients receiving chemotherapy and other infusion treatments 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, totaling 40 hours weekly Day shift schedule Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Current ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required Minimum of 1 year of outpatient infusion and chemotherapy experience required Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, Bachelor's degree preferred Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services Additional Information Administer chemotherapy drugs, PO and SC medications, and IV infusions as ordered by physicians Assist physicians during minor diagnostic procedures and conscious sedation cases Monitor patient physiological data and intervene as necessary Provide chemotherapy-related patient and family education Coordinate patient follow-up care, including referrals and post-visit phone calls Delegate tasks to support staff as needed Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines, and onboarding requirements must begin promptly upon offer Travelers may extend once for a maximum of 26 weeks before requiring a 6-month separation prior to reapplying American Traveler Job ID P-746216.
