Alpharetta ENT Specialists is seeking an experienced Front Desk Supervisor / Insurance & Billing Support professional to join our busy ENT specialty practice.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands the front desk from the ground up and has a strong working knowledge of health insurance and patient financial responsibility.

The ideal candidate will supervise and support our front-office team while also assisting with insurance and billing-related issues on a part-time basis.

What You'll Do

• Oversee and support daily front-desk operations.
• Train, mentor, and assist front-desk staff.
• Assist with patient check-in/check-out and escalated patient concerns.
• Ensure accurate patient demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Understand deductibles, copays, coinsurance, out-of-pocket maximums, referrals, and prior authorizations.
• Assist staff with complex insurance questions.
• Help identify and correct front-end issues that can lead to claim denials or billing problems.
• Provide part-time support to billing with insurance-related account research, claim issues, and patient balances.
• Serve as a communication link between the front desk and billing functions.
• Help improve front-office workflows and reduce preventable billing errors.
• Maintain a professional, positive, and patient-focused environment.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 3–5+ years of medical front-office experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical insurance and healthcare reimbursement.
• Understanding of eligibility, benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, referrals, authorizations, and patient responsibility.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while also leading and supporting a team.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy medical practice.

Preferred:

• Previous front-desk lead or supervisory experience.
• Specialty practice experience.
• ENT or surgical practice experience.
• Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW).
• Previous medical billing or revenue-cycle experience.
