Deliver focused speech therapy sessions that enhance communication abilities, language skills, fluency, voice control, and swallowing function.
Work alongside a multidisciplinary team including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to develop coordinated care plans.
Provide educational resources for patients and their families to support continual progress beyond the therapy room.
Conduct selected inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, ensuring a smooth transition of care in each patient's journey.
Keep meticulous records that adhere to clinical, state, and federal regulations.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay abreast of industry updates and best practices.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
Completion of your Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA.
Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) training must be completed within 30 days of starting.
Strong application of evidence-based treatment practices across all age groups, with a thorough understanding of developmental and acquired communication challenges.
Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Adaptability in applying therapy techniques that cater to unique cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Solid clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with electronic health records and documentation procedures.
Attractive compensation package based on experience.
Flexible scheduling options that promote work-life harmony and a varied patient caseload.
Opportunities to pursue specialization in pediatrics, adult rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
Generous paid time off (PTO) plus holiday pay.
Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
Support for continuing education and professional growth.
A collaborative environment focused on quality care and lifelong learning.
In this role, you will not only provide essential speech therapy services, but also contribute to a heartfelt mission of fostering communication and connection. You will embark on a fulfilling journey where the simplest act of understanding can change lives.
