Restaurant Leaders Wanted — Help Launch Bar Soleil in Chelsea

Bar Soleil is a new all-day café and wine bar opening in Chelsea, Manhattan.

We’re building a fast-casual restaurant that moves with the pace of New York while still caring deeply about food quality, service, cleanliness, and detail. During the day, Bar Soleil will operate as an all-day café with coffee, breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go offerings. In the evening, the space shifts into a relaxed wine bar with small plates and a more social atmosphere.

As we prepare to open, we’re hiring one strong Kitchen Manager and one Floor Manager to join our opening leadership team. We’re looking for people with fast-casual, café, high-volume, or quality casual dining experience who are hands-on, organized, calm under pressure, and excited to help build strong systems from the start.

This is not just a role in an already-established restaurant. It’s an opportunity to help shape the standards, routines, team culture, and guest experience of a new concept from day one.

• Want to grow with a new restaurant and help build something from the beginning.

Roles we are hiring for

• Kitchen Manager

This role will focus on kitchen leadership, prep systems, food execution, ordering, inventory, food safety, cleanliness, BOH training, and daily kitchen organization.

• Floor Manager

This role will focus on front-of-house leadership, café service, coffee, guest experience, team supervision, opening and closing routines, POS flow, service standards, cleanliness, and daily shift execution.

• Floor or Kitchen management or supervisory experience in a fast-casual, casual dining café, or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Strong communication and team leadership skills.
• A hands-on leadership style.
• High standards for cleanliness, organization, and execution.
• Ability to train, coach, and hold people accountable.
• Comfort working in a new opening environment where systems are still being built.
• Reliability, maturity, and calm decision-making under pressure.
• A genuine interest in food, coffee, service, and hospitality.

Compensation and benefits

• Base pay of $50,000–$90,000/year , depending on role, experience, and fit.
• Full-time schedule.

• Up to $600/month in employer-funded ICHRA reimbursements toward eligible individual health insurance premiums, subject to plan terms and proof of qualifying coverage.

Physical requirements

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly in a fast-paced environment, and perform tasks such as bending, reaching, and lifting items up to 25 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs. These requirements can be met with or without reasonable accommodations.
