Position: Full Charge Bookkeeper

Compensation: $55,000 to $60,000 per year

Pay Type: Salaried

Opportunities for spiffs and commissions on top of pay rate

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm

Position overview:

• Maintaining a complete and accurate set of financial records for the company
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing, general ledger entries, and daily reconciliations
• Prepare daily deposits, electronic check deposits, credit card deposits, and physical check deposits
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, including payroll taxes and other regulatory requirements
• Collections on accounts receivable
• Progressive billing on new construction projects
• Recording financial transactions, reconciling payments and adjustments, and preparing monthly financial statements
• Create service P&L report at month end
• Oversee the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Working closely with the owner and department leaders to support financial planning, budgeting, and alignment with company goals
• Supporting office functions including answering phones and customer service
• Daily working in QuickBooks and Field Edge, our cloud-based CRM

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Bookkeeping, financial management, or accounting
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and oversee or manage an Accounting Clerk
• Experience in the Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, or similar industry - desired
• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field - desired
