Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Solutions: Assess patients' needs and create individualized therapy plans that guide them toward achieving their functional objectives
• Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Use evidence-based methods to help patients improve their motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work alongside fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to deliver comprehensive and holistic patient care
• Educate Patients and Their Families: Provide knowledge and strategies to patients and their caregivers that promote continued progress outside of therapy sessions
• Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatments as necessary to ensure patients remain on track towards their goals

Education

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Continued education or post-graduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
