Your Daily Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing personalized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions in collaboration with physicians or independently, depending on your credentials
• Providing education to patients and families regarding prevention, wellness, and management of diseases
• Prescribing medications and therapies within your practice authority
• Engaging in patient follow-up and managing chronic care effectively

• Maintaining thorough documentation within electronic health records (EHR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
