To learn more about our company, please visit our website; Requisition ID: 19360 Remote Work Available: No Job Title: Manufacturing Technician Department: Manufacturing Reports To : Manufacturing Supervisor FSLA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Location: McKeesport, PA KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for weighing, assembling, packaging and labeling various forms of cannabis Operate equipment as needed and dictated by the process Adherence manufacturing processes Uphold GMP, SQF and QA standards Assist with cleaning, sanitation and organization of the Edibles Kitchen Maintain accurate daily activities records and operation logs as directed Continuously place importance in the organizational goals and visions in relation to: Safety and security of employees and product Compliance to all policies, regulations, and laws set forth by the city, county and state as required to ensure security of the operating license Quality of product and packaging On-time delivery and customer service Process Performance Participate in ongoing education and professional development opportunities Additional duties as assigned by manufacturing leadership QUALIFICATIONS Production experience in the food/beverage or pharmaceutical industry desired Good interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with a team Detail oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to manage high stress situations, and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it Must be able to handle constructive criticism and guidance Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds if relevant to job duties listed above Through extended periods, must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking throughout the workday Must havereliable transportation Environmental Requirements and Exposure, depending on work location Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables ADDITIONAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum High School or G.E.D equivalent is required Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV) Must be able to pass comprehensive background screening Valid driver's license WORK SCHEDULE 40+ hours weekly with flexible hours depending on department needs. Must be available to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Salary will be commensurate with experience.
