URGENT New Position - AWS Solutions ArchitectPosition: AWS Solutions ArchitectLocation: Bothell, WashingtonJob Type: Contract to HireStart Date: Immediate & URGENTJob Description:Responsibilities:10+ years' experience in architecture design/implementation of large scale commercial applicationsSound knowledge of architecting applications on either Java OSS or.Net technology domains1+ years' experience implementing applications on AWSAWS Solution Architect Associate certificationIn-depth AWS experience including:VPC, EC2, ELBRDS, S3, CloudformationExposure to AWS application services:SES, SWS, SQSCodeX suite of services (CodeCommit etc.)ECS, DynamoDBKnowledge of WAN Networking and relevance to AWS connectivity optionsGood understanding of applied data security on the cloudPresentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiencesStrong written communication skills; this role will require the creation of content such as design documents, recommendations and other written deliverablesHigh level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations and interacting with VP level client stakeholdersDemonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.Nice to Have (additional points for any of the following):AWS Solution Architect Professional certificationExperience implementing continuous delivery on AWSMigrating large applications to AWSContainerization of applications (Docker)Experience implementing regulated workloads on AWS (HIPAA, PCI/DSS etc.)
