Job Summary
The Pavilion of East Tampa is seeking a compassionate and skilled Cook to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a vital member of our culinary team, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our residents and their families.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of meals and snacks for residents, adhering to dietary needs and preferences
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety standards
Order and receive supplies, managing inventory and minimizing waste
Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and execute special events and themed meals
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders
Requirements:
1-2 years of experience in a similar role
SERV SAFE manager
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods
