Travel RN - Med/Surg - Bone Marrow Transplant/BMT

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) unit position requiring inpatient hematology oncology experience and ONS Chemotherapy Certification. Requirements Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required ONS Chemotherapy Certification required ACLS certification preferred Minimum 1 year of inpatient Med/Surg experience required Inpatient hematology oncology experience required; Heme/Onc experience strongly preferred Epic EMR experience required Two professional references required: at least one must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted Responsibilities Inpatient BMT unit within a cancer hospital and research center environment, spanning a mixed-acuity PCU and Med/Surg setting Patient population includes hematologic malignancies and disorders such as ALL, AML, CLL, CML, Hodgkin's and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Aplastic Anemia, Amyloidosis, and Myeloproliferative Disorders Specialized procedures include autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants, as well as CAR‑T therapy Required skills include telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, central line blood draws and sterile dressing changes, PICC line management, peripheral line care, feeding tube care, and nasal cannula administration Rapid Response Team involvement is part of unit practice Epic EMR experience is required Shifts are 12‑hour nights (19:00–07:30), 3 days per week; a rotating day/night schedule may also be available depending on department needs Shift assignments are reviewed every 4‑week scheduling period and are subject to change based on staffing priorities Local candidates are accepted Former employees of the facility are eligible after a minimum 6‑month separation Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted prior to placement and built into the contract, with a maximum of 7 days Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be initiated promptly after accepting a contract – candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to a fingerprinting location or complete a mailed fingerprinting packet upon receipt Parking is available on‑site for agency staff through CampusParc, with multiple permit options at varying price points Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler
