About the Opportunity

Our client is a global leader in entertainment, creating and distributing world-class film and television content while operating innovative streaming, digital, and consumer platform businesses. They are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Consultant to provide interim FP&A leadership during a critical transition period.

This consultant will support both Great American Media and the Consumer Platforms & Services organization. The ideal candidate is a strategic finance leader who can quickly step into a high-impact role, providing financial oversight, executive reporting, forecasting, and business partnership across multiple business units.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance liaison between Great American Media and internal stakeholders, ensuring financial alignment and continuity.
• Lead FP&A activities for Consumer Platforms & Services.
• Own the monthly close reporting process, including variance analysis and executive-level financial insights.
• Monitor business performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying key risks, opportunities, and business drivers.
• Review and challenge forecast assumptions to improve accuracy and transparency.
• Prepare executive-ready financial presentations, reporting packages, and business narratives for senior leadership.
• Manage corporate submissions, supplemental schedules, and financial system reporting requirements.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support scenario planning, investment decisions, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and increase operational efficiencies.
• Support ad hoc financial analyses and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, with experience at the Senior Manager or Director level.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, monthly close support, and executive reporting.
• Experience partnering with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to drive business decisions.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with enterprise financial planning tools such as SAP, Hyperion, Anaplan, Oracle, or similar.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new businesses and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in media, entertainment, streaming, or digital platform finance.
• Familiarity with direct-to-consumer (DTC), FAST, AVOD, or digital distribution business models.
• Experience supporting executive leadership with strategic financial planning and business analysis.
