Join Cape Coral Hospital's Emergency Services team in a fast-paced, patient-centered role where you'll be the communication hub between patients, families, nurses, and physicians. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient experience while supporting the daily operations of a busy emergency department. Must be able to work three 12 hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and rotational holidays.

This role serves as a key point of coordination between patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff to support a positive patient experience and efficient Emergency Department operations. The position combines clerical, communication, and care coordination responsibilities to help ensure smooth unit workflow and optimal patient care delivery.

Core Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, physicians, and clinical staff.
• Support patient satisfaction and a positive care experience.
• Coordinate nursing unit workflow and daily operations.
• Perform clerical and administrative duties for the department.
• Communicate important information to appropriate staff and leadership.
• Identify operational challenges and escalate concerns as needed.
• Assist in problem-solving and recommending alternative solutions.
• Support efficient patient flow within the Emergency Services department.
