Sourcing Specialist

Primary Responsibilities Build strong knowledge within assigned categories and contribute to the development of category sourcing strategies. Manage and develop plans for assigned spend categories to achieve cost savings targets and supplier performance goals. Analyze historical spend to proactively identify sourcing opportunities that improve cost, working capital and payment terms. Identify and implement business process standards as well as optimize of existing business systems. Develop relationships with key suppliers to provide world class service across multiple sites and businesses. Develop and manage RFx activities in coordination with business partners to drive measurable savings results. Negotiation of contract terms and conditions in cooperation with business partners. Timely resolution of supplier related service issues. Ensure accuracy of supplier related data in business systems. Experience Requirements (Skills, Knowledge and Abilities) Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Procurement, or Supply Chain 2+ years of experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain or Corporate Financial Planning Ability to establish and build strong relationships with suppliers and across the organization Ability to manage and prioritize multiple key activities Basic negotiation and conflict resolution skills Drive to challenge the status quo and collaboratively implement change Strong analytical skills (especially MS Excel formulas, pivot tables) and presentation development (especially in MS PowerPoint) Education/License/Technical Requirements Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of experience in Sourcing/Supply Chain/Procurement or Corporate Financial Planning.
