Responsibilities Provide outstanding patient care and preventive oral health services, ensuring patients receive the time and attention they need. Work within a team that encourages full clinical autonomy, and participate in ongoing education and mentorship. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in South Carolina. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required). Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation. CPR Certification. Preferred Experience Experience with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x‑rays, and electronic medical record systems. Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills. New graduates and seasoned hygienists welcomed. Clinical experience as required by office. Physical Requirements Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the office, doctor, or Heartland Dental, with or without reasonable accommodation. Prolonged periods of sitting and standing. Capacity to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times. Availability to attend virtual or in‑person training sessions periodically. Completion of a tuberculosis (TB) test prior to starting employment (not applicable in FL & TN).
