Paralegal - Financial Services

Experience Level: 1+ years
Office Location:  Albany, New York
Work Schedule: In-Office, Mon-Friday, with occasional/rare overtime as needed



 
Compensation Range: $26.44-$31.25/hour

Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP’s Financial Services Practice Group is seeking a paralegal to join its team at our 80 State Street location.

The Role:

• Reviewing credit approvals and Legal Due Diligence (LDD) to prepare consumer demand loan packages for banking clients
• Organizing communications between clients and attorneys regarding inquiries, follow-ups, and information requests 
• Drafting Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) Financial Statements and Amendments and preparing summaries of entities with active UCC filings according to each state's jurisdiction
• Tracking status of deposit account control agreements
• Perform administrative tasks with supporting staff

Skills for Success:

• Very strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel

Required:

• College Degree, paralegal certificate, and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
