Part-Time Server - Windsor of Savoy

The Windsor or Savoy in Savoy, Illinois is an affiliate of Greencroft Communities in Goshen, IN.

The Windsor of Savoy is currently looking for Part-Time Servers to provide exceptional formal table service to our residents and guests in our independent senior living community.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality dining experiences in both the dining room and at catered events, ensuring meals are served promptly, with a focus on presentation and resident satisfaction. Your responsibilities will include serving food and beverages, assisting with food preparation, and maintaining clean and organized serving and preparation areas.

Schedule:

• Monday-Saturday, 3:30pm-7/7:30pm and Sunday 10am-2pm.
• Must be able to work 4 – 5 shifts per week, including weekend shifts.
• This is not a summer position. The Part-Time Server will work year-round.

Pay Range (DOE): $15.42 - $24.99. This is a non-tipping position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver efficient and formal table service to residents and guests during mealtimes and at catered functions.
• Assist with food preparation, set-up, and clean-up to ensure a smooth dining experience.
• Respond to resident requests and resolve any concerns promptly.
• Ensure food is presented and served according to established standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and leadership to maintain a high standard of service.

Position Requirements:

• Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Must be at least 16 years old. Food Handler Certification is required within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Strong customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members, and a passion for serving others in a formal dining setting.
• Physical & Mental Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs., and perform repetitive motions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment.
• Must be able to pass preemployment screening and drug testing, including marijuana.
