Bartender: Knockouts Chicago in Stone Park

Bartender Position At Knockouts Chicago

Knockouts Chicago is hiring a bartender at 3901 Lake Street in Stone Park, Illinois. The role is flexible and self-scheduled, with hourly pay plus tips. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and previous bartending experience is not required because training is provided. The venue operates in the Chicago west suburbs near O'Hare and stays open every day from 11 a.m. to 4 a.m.

The bartender works in a high-volume nightlife setting where drink preparation, guest service, responsible alcohol service, and bar organization all share the shift. The role sits alongside waitstaff, floor staff, reception, security, and entertainment positions at Knockouts Chicago. A bartender who keeps orders accurate, maintains a stocked station, and communicates clearly with the floor team supports service through late-night operating hours.

A bartender prepares alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, takes orders, handles payments, and keeps the bar ready for the next guest. The work also includes measuring pours, using garnishes, managing glassware, and keeping the service area clean. Accurate order entry reduces delays between the bar and the floor.

Nightlife bartenders handle changing demand across a shift. A busy rush calls for organized ticket handling, clear communication with servers, and steady attention to responsible alcohol service. The role also requires awareness of guest behavior, venue rules, and the point at which service must stop.

Knockouts Chicago does not require previous experience for the bartender opening. Training gives a new hire a starting point for drink preparation, point-of-sale procedures, bar setup, cleaning, and service rules. Basic arithmetic, careful listening, and the ability to remain organized help a trainee progress through those tasks.

The minimum application age is 18. A bartender also needs the physical ability to stand for a full shift, move supplies safely, and work in a crowded service area. Illinois alcohol-service rules and the venue's own procedures govern how drinks are prepared and served.

The position uses flexible, self-scheduled work rather than a fixed schedule stated on the employer's page. Availability should account for evening and overnight service because the venue remains open until 4 a.m. Weekend availability is a common operational need for nightlife bartending, although the employer does not publish a required weekly schedule for this role.

Stone Park is a village in the Chicago metropolitan area, and Knockouts Chicago is located near O'Hare. A bartender can expect the shift to include standing, repeated lifting of bottles and supplies, cleaning between orders, and movement between the bar and nearby guest areas. Reliable arrival planning matters when shifts extend past public transit's busiest hours.

Knockouts Chicago lists waitstaff, floor staff, reception, security, and entertainers alongside bartending roles. Bartenders coordinate with servers when tickets arrive, with reception when guest flow changes, and with security when an alcohol-service or entry concern reaches the bar. Short, direct communication prevents an order problem from becoming a floor problem.

The wider nightlife team also depends on consistent closing work. Bar stock, glassware, payment records, waste handling, and cleaning need attention before the station is released. A bartender who records shortages and reports equipment problems gives the next shift a clear starting point.

Stone Park's location near O'Hare places the venue within a large suburban hospitality market serving local guests, airport-area workers, and Chicago-area nightlife traffic. The surrounding service economy includes bartenders, servers, security staff, entertainers, and other food and beverage jobs.

Other Stone Park job openings may include service, venue, and event work. The broader job listings include roles for people whose experience grows from guest service into bar management, venue operations, or event services.

Applicants with no bartending background can start with the training provided by Knockouts Chicago. Applicants who already know point-of-sale systems, beverage preparation, or high-volume service can bring those skills into the interview and training conversation.
