Psychiatrist Location: Grand Forks, North Dakota Schedule: 7:00AM - 7:00PM x 3 Term: 13-week assignment with the potential for extension. Pay Rate: $195 - $210/hr

Astrya Global, a San Diego based medical staffing agency, is hiring a Psychiatrist for a temporary assignment in Grand Forks, North Dakota. These positions are 13-week locum tenens contracts with the ability to extend.

Responsibilities for a Psychiatrist:

Provide inpatient psychiatric care on a 24-bed inpatient unit, including adult and adolescent (6-bed) units Perform ER evaluations and general hospital consults, willing to see all ages and diagnoses Work a 7-day on/7-day off schedule with shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM Provide 1-2 nights of call per 7-day shift Collaborate and work alongside another psychiatrist on the 7-day on/off rotation Utilize telemedicine to connect with the general hospital when needed Work with support staff including APPs (1-2 typically), social work, discharge team, and intake team Maintain Board Certification in Psychiatry Utilize Epic (EMR) for clinical documentation Be available to complete full orientation prior to start of assignment Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
