• Location: 850 West Baraga Avenue, Marquette, MI 49855
• Start Date: 08/05/2026 (Orientation)
• Duration: Ongoing, with 10-14 days per month
• Shift: 6am–6pm in-facility, on-call 6pm–6am (24-hour coverage)
• Hours/Week: Variable, approximately 36-48 hours/week
• Employment Type: Travel/Locum or Permanent options available
• Licenses/Certs: Valid Michigan RN license; Neonatology certification preferred, NRP required, board eligibility acceptable
• Experience: Preferred minimum of 2+ years in NICU or related pediatric specialty

What You’ll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU environment
• Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube placement, central line insertions, paracentesis, spinal taps, and exchange transfusions
• Support ventilator management including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists
• Stabilize surgical cases for transport and manage complex neonatal conditions such as RDS, pulmonary hypertension, sepsis, and VLBW care
• Contribute to a supportive and knowledgeable staff maintaining high standards of neonatal care
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EHR system

What You Need

• Active Michigan RN license (or ability to transfer/license)
• Board certification or eligibility in Neonatology (preferred)
• NRP certification required
• 2+ years NICU experience, including ventilator management and invasive procedures
• Strong clinical skills, teamwork, and adaptability in a busy environment
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and handle on-call responsibilities
