Dietary Aide

Cranford Park Care - Job Description The Dietary Aide performs designated work and cleaning routines for the Dietary Department and is accountable to Director of Food Services. Requirements: High School Graduate Dietary Experience preferred Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions, diet orders, tray cards, and work assignments Willingness to perform routine and repetitive tasks efficiently Numerical ability necessary for recipe preparation and proper measuring of cleaning agents and chemicals Good motor coordination and skills for work routines such as preparing food items, serving trays, handling soiled dishes, operating dietary equipment and work area Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more Must be able to withstand exposure to temperature and humidity changes when entering refrigerated storage areas or when working at oven ranges, dish washing machines, and at steam tables Flexible availability, including weekends Job Duties: Provide assistance to the cook in the preparation and service of meals Meet scheduled meal and snack times Follow Federal and State long term care regulations and Dietary Department policies and procedures Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled Assist in arranging tray cards ,loading food carts, and serving meals Wash and store dishes Follow established reporting procedures Assist in receiving and storing foods and supplies Attend In-Service educational programs Follow defined safety codes Follow defined Infection Control Procedures Understand Facility Emergency Preparedness Plans following established procedures during all drills and actual emergencies Perform other department duties as assigned by Director Job Type: Full-time Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Cranford Park Care
